Mná Feasa was selected by Johnson Global Creatives as their chosen charity in 2023 whereby they redesigned the branding of Mná Feasa. The launch took place in November 2024 which was a huge success leading to many newspaper/online articles being published about the project’s work and highlighting how prevalent domestic violence/ abuse is. This day was a huge milestone for Mná Feasa as it was the first time it was rebranded since its origin in 1991. There was such inspiration emerged from this launch as three women who use the service agreed to give testimonials which were very real, powerful, strong and emotive showing the amazing resilience that women in such situations portray.

Mná Feasa Court Service

I am writing to show my appreciation to a lovely girl, (Anon project worker). I meet her in Washington street court house today. I felt very uneasy and to be honest, I felt quite intimidated about what to write on my forms. Half of my application was dictated to me about what to write. When I felt my own wording and thoughts were mine and very suitable. I was so lucky, of our by chance meeting. (Anon project worker) advocated for me, she comforted me mentally . I really wouldn't know what I would of done without her, as I felt quite distressed... thank you (Anon project worker) you are a credit to your amazing charity.

Mná Feasa Schools Programme

I just wanted to send you an email to say thank you again for the Domestic Violence Talk last week. The girls absolutely loved it - their feedback was nothing but positive. They really got a lot out of it and learned so much.

A number of them mentioned how valuable it was to learn from someone so passionate about the topic, and many also said they felt more comfortable hearing about it from someone outside of the school rather than from their teachers. I think that made a real difference - it created space for further discussion afterwards, and I had numerous students come up to me after class to thank me for organising it, which is not always the case with every talk we host.

Thanks so much once again - everything about the talk was excellent.
